Continuing Support

This is Kellie-Ann here in the US. Sarah's last post got me thinking about giving and maybe some of you are thinking about it as well. I wanted to share with you an interesting and important opportunity that you may interested in helping with.

Remember how Steve is working in the field to help farmers? He is currently working on an investment project, trying to raise $175,000 for a chicken hatchery, feed mill and helping to start out 140 independent local Mozambican farmers. Some of you may recall this blog post and the cool pictures of the chicken coops he helped farmers construct.

For about $860 dollars we can help out an independent local Mozambican farmer which establishes them in the chicken business, provides training and mentoring as well as chickens, feed, vaccinations, follow-up and help selling their finished product (broiler chickens). These are people Steve will be working with, real people and real families that you can make a difference in. Perhaps some of us can get together to support a local family. I want you to know that I decided to post this, Steve and Sarah don't even know that I am. I just wanted to share opportunities to give and help support their mission in the field. Of course you can also always still support the Sniders directly through World Relief as well.
