Adoption Update

Well, we promised we would keep you informed of our adoption progress. We have had our initial meetings with Social Services, submitted our notarized paperwork and had our home visit. Now we are awaiting an official signature which will allow us to move forward and identify our child! (Hopefully that signature will appear in the next 2 weeks, although it may take a bit longer due to the missing children from the bombings.) Once we bring him or her home we will have 6 months "probation" time where we will have monthly visits from Social Services and then we will appear before the court for the final adoption process. That's the latest - we're hoping to know more soon!
